Summer is probably everyones favorite time of the year. You get to forget about your responsibilities and work for a full three months until you have to go back to school. Everyone starts preparing for summer months in advance, because who doesn't like thinking about having some fun in the sun? Even though there is over a month left of classes, we are all ready for the warmer days to come. Here are six signs you're already prepared for summer as told by our favorite characters of "High School Musical 2."

1. You have a countdown set on your phone.

You've downloaded that countdown app and have the seconds ticking until you are done with your last final. That moment you are free cannot come fast enough, but for now you just have to keep watching that countdown.

2. You and your friends are already scheming on what your summer plans will be

Whether it's going to a festival or a simple beach trip, you guys are already planning everything to a tee. You can't be there yet, so planning it is as close as you can get. Keep looking at those beach pictures, you'll be there soon enough!

3. You can't stop dreaming about how you're going to pamper yourself

Spa days, tanning by the pool, basically anything other than work is on your mind. For now, get that spray tan because you have a bit more to go until you can be lounging in the sun.

4. You're way too excited for warm weather

We all want to pull a Troy and dance around when warm weather finally shows up. It may take awhile to get here, but as soon as the days get warmer, we get happier and more ready for summer. Being in class when it's 75 degrees and sunny outside is the worst form of torture. Thanks, school!

5. Thinking about swimming at the beach or in the pool are a common day dream

You never realize how much you like swimming until you can't. You miss the chlorine smell in your hair, or the gross red seaweed that gets stuck everywhere. Show off your cute new bathing suits and get your swim on.

6. You constantly think about throwing your notes away and not dealing with school anymore

You know you've wanted to throw your papers in the air when you're done with your last class. Although we can't all have quite a dramatic moment, we can still dream. Toss out those notes, sell back your books and enjoy your freedom while it lasts.

It may seem like forever, but summer is just around the corner! So keep planning and thinking about all the fun times to come. Let's all focus on the final stretch of the semester and before we know it we will be able to relax 24/7.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
