Six Reasons To Take A Road Trip With Your Best Friend

1. Quality time

I’m all for spending quality time with my best friends. Maybe being trapped in a car with one of them for hours on end wouldn’t be such a bad thing?

2. Less responsibilities

As a working college student, I am responsible for attending school, work, paying bills, and etc., but I also don’t nearly have the same responsibilities as someone raising a family and holding a full time job. Now is truly the best time to travel.

3. Jam out sessions

I am the QUEEN of playlists and let me tell you they definitely range in genres. One minute I’ll be listening to Drake and the next minute I’ll be listening to Hannah Montana. The amount of playlists I would make or a road trip is unimaginable.

4. Exploring new places

Nothing truly makes me happier than getting away and exploring new places. Whether it be a fort- hour drive or a four-hour drive, as long as I’m visiting somewhere now and exciting I’m happy.

5. Trying new cuisine

Quite explanatory: New places mean new foods. New foods for my mouth…. and my Instagram page.

6. Being more adventurous

I understand that planning and booking an extravagant vacation may be too much money for the working college student, which makes a road trip so ideal. Anyway, you’re only young once.

And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
