Six Reasons To Love Fall

It's the greatest time of the year!

I have to admit that I love fall, and I don’t understand why some people aren’t as passionate about fall as I am. I look forward to fall all year, and when fall finally arrives, I get as excited as a small child on Christmas morning. Bellow I have compiled six (of the many) reasons on why I love fall, and why you should too.

1. No More Scorching Hot Weather

Bathing in the sun’s rays may feel great, but the daily dose of scalding temperatures will not be missed. It’s great to say goodbye to the days of being branded by your car’s seat belt and having your sweaty skin stick to literally everything.

2. But It's Not Freezing Either

Temperature extremes are not really a fan-favorite. Its chilly enough out to wear that cute sweater you love, but you don’t have to cover it up by a puffy winter coat just yet.

3. Fall Colors

The beautiful colors seen during fall aren't often thought of as beautiful as they are. But the rich reds and golden yellows always bring a smile to my face. It’s also a blast to run through all of the fallen leaves. Playing in the leaves is definitely not just for kids!

4. Delicious Warm Drinks

Fall is the best time to sip a chai latte, a warm apple cider, or even a hot tea. Now close your eyes and imagine taking a nature walk with your favorite warm drink in hand.

5. There Are Apples And Pumpkins Galore!

I don’t know about you, but visiting apple orchards and pumpkin patches are the things that I look forward to the most. Picking apples and choosing pumpkins with friends and family makes so many great memories. Plus, you can bake the apples and pumpkins into delicious deserts after!

6. Halloween

Halloween is one of the only times of the year when everyone can play dress-up with zero judgement involved. And with Halloween comes candy, fun costumes, parties, and the occasional adorable dog dressed as a dragon.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
