I have traveled to every state in this region and I have always left each state in awe from the amazing attractions. From Maine to Connecticut, I have chosen beautiful and awesome attractions that you must experience for yourself!
1. Narragansett Beach - Rhode Island
Narragansett Beach is a major tourist attraction in Rhode island. Located in Narragansett, Rhode Island, this beach has a perfect view of The Towers while lounging in the sun. There are many restaurants and shops located around the beach and there is also the Narragansett Seawall which allows you to walk along the coast.
2. Acadia National Park - Maine
Located on Mount Dessert, this attraction is filled with gorgeous scenery. You can hike along in the woods, gaze at the beautiful sights or just relax while camping. This place is a sight to see and would definitely be fun for people seeking adventure.
3. Mount Washington - New Hampshire
Mount Washington is known for hiking or driving up to the peak. Once you reach the top, you are able to use the observatory, and pets are allowed. There are picnic sights and an amazing scenic overlook.
4. Stowe Mountain Resort - Vermont
Stowe Mountain Resort includes two different mountains: Spruce Peak and Mount Mansfield. It is a ski resort located in Stowe, Vermont. There are various things you can do here in the summer as well, including hiking and zip touring.
5. Mystic Seaport - Connecticut
Mystic Seaport is located in Mystic, Connecticut. It is the leading maritime museum in the United States. Here, you can explore a recreated 19th century coastal village and shipyard. You can jump back in time and check out over 500 ships. It is extremely fun to go to with family and friends!
6. Boston Common - Massachusetts
The Boston Common is located right in Boston, Massachusetts. It is the oldest park in the nation and gives you a beautiful walk through a piece of the city of Boston. The park is luscious and green in a busy city. You will love a stroll through here, especially during the springtime.
