For most people, fitting a workout into a busy schedule is close to impossible. And if you do get that workout in, you probably won't have time to eat something before, therefore you won't have that much energy to put into your workout. If you're one of these people, you're in luck, there are certain foods that are quick, easy, and beneficial for you to scarf down before your workout.

1. Blueberry banana protein smoothie

Throw some blueberries, bananas, milk and yogurt into a blender and let it all mix together while you change into your workout clothes. You'll find yourself working out so much harder than you would've on an extra stomach.

2. Apples with peanut butter

This is super easy to make as you're running out the door. All you have to do is cut up some apples, grab a spoonful of peanut butter and you're good to go.

3. Turkey avocado rolls

Grab some avocado slices and turkey out of the fridge and quickly roll them up. You can even eat these while driving to the gym!

4. Carrots with hummus

Not only are carrots good to eat for your eye sight, but they're a great snack to shove down before a workout!

5. Trail mix

Now that you know trail mix is an option, there's no excuse to not eat before a workout! You can either buy it pre-made at the store, or if you have a little extra time, you can make it yourself.

6. Cheese and crackers

If you thought trail mix was easy, it just got easier. Just throw some cheese on some crackers and eat them while on your way to the gym. To be honest, it really doesn't get easier than cheese and crackers as a pre-workout snack.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
