"Six Feet Under" is a show on HBO from 2001-2005 that’s about a family trying to make it as a “normal” family after the loss of the kid’s father (who they sometimes see and learn more about through his death). The mother and widow, Ruth, is uptight and afraid to let her freak flag fly as she tries to get closer to her eldest, Nate and the second brother, David that is learning how to be who he is like his mother while they all try to maintain the funeral home left to the two sons in the will. There is also the snarky daughter Claire and they are learning about love, life, and lost in this dark comedy on HBO. The show is underrated because it isn’t just a dark comedy. This show can make you feel every emotion from laughter to tears. Here are some of the eleven greatest quotes and lessons from the show that are inspirational enough to prove you should watch it.
