The hands-down the best part about having a sister is having a built-in bestie that will always be by your side. My sister is truly my best friend and I couldn't be any more thankful for the relationship we have. She's the salt to my pepper and my bestie for life. We're normal, we fight, but we laugh and have fun so much more!

To all my girls out there whose sisters are their best friends, here are 14 relatable things that happen when your sister is your bestie!

1.You have all the same friends.

Your friends are her friends and her friends are yours!

2. You have more than one closet.

Stealing or borrowing? The world will never know.

3. You couldn't imagine your life without her.

I don't even want to think about it.

4. You can go from being in a massive fight to besties in minutes.

"WWE Smackdown" to best buds real quick.

5. You never worry about having plans.

Social life who is she? Sister time is the best time!

6. You love family vacations.

Did I say family vacations? I meant girls' trips crashed by the rest of your family!

7. You don't have a filter around each other.

Honesty is the best policy. Who else is going to tell her that her hair looks like she stuck her finger in an electrical socket?

8. You feel obligated to tell people about her.

People don't really know me unless they know her.

9. You constantly speak in plural.

My sister and I always do it. We can't help it!

10.You feel empty without each other.

She's the peanut butter to my jelly.

11. You can't keep a secret from each other.

You can try, however, sisters find out everything!

12. You go on sister dates.

I personally recommend the Chili's two for $25.

13. You get separation anxiety when you are apart for long periods of time.

All I have to say is thank you FaceTime!

14. You have the best relationship.

The bond between sisters is unbreakable! I love my sister more than anything. This article is for you Hun Bun!

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
