So on September 25th a big day is coming up. It’s my little sisters 16th birthday. 16 is the age of freedom, you’re an upperclassman, learning how to drive, and you’re trying to figure out life after high school.
I know this is cliché, but time does fly by. One minute you’re just starting high school, and the next you’re walking across the field at graduation. So spend your time wisely. Spend time learning about yourself, and learn to love yourself. Don’t forget to spend time with family and friends while you still can. Just experience life, while you still have time.
I’m so very proud of the young woman you have become. You’re beautiful, and have such a bright future ahead of you. I’ve watched you grow up from my little baby sister to my 16-year-old karate kid.
Though we may fight sometimes, you do have a very special place in my heart. You’re like a little mini me. I can’t wait to watch you grow even more. See you graduate, build a future, and eventually start a family.
I want to wish you good luck on everything you do. I hope you have the best birthday ever. I love you so much! Happy 16th birthday!
