Thank you for the advice.

From the late night phone calls when I’m stressing out over school to the mid-afternoon heart-to-hearts over boys and relationships, somehow, you know exactly what I need to hear. You have been and always will be my go-to girl for anything. You showed me that life is worth living and not stressing. That it is OK that I didn’t get into that one university because there is something better and brighter out there. You showed me that above all, attending class is always most attractive. You helped me through my most depressed days by just listening to me vent.

Thank you for the countless memories and laughs.

Growing up with you was never boring. You showed me how to step out of my comfort zone when high school was too rough. You always let your little sister come hang out with you and your friends. You drove me to all my practices and supported me in all of my competitions. Looking back, that meant so much to me. I can look back on my childhood and smile because with you, everything was fun.

Thank you for teaching me faith, love, and hope.

You have tremendous strength in ways you have no idea. Life has thrown you curve-balls and with each one, you came out on top. I have always been amazed by how well you handle this crazy world.

Thank you for loving yourself.

This is something I have always struggled with, but I see your beauty inside and out. You let me know that I, too, can be comfortable in my own skin. You don’t let people take advantage or walk over you. You have respect for yourself and for others. That is an incredible quality that not many people have.

Thank you for being the woman I have always aspired to be.

You are an amazing person. Your heart is huge and you never fail to do the right thing. You always work hard to improve yourself and your family. You, my dear sister, are one of a kind. I am very proud to be your little sister.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.
