Hey Sis,

As your younger sister, you don't always like to listen to what I have to say or agree with what I think just to prove a point. But in case you didn't realize, yet, you're not getting rid of me. I want you to know that I am extremely happy for you as you graduate from college. You're at that place in your life where you can take what you learned and apply it to those real life situations that everyone warns you about. You're at the point where you can take chances and try new things. This is the opportunity that many are envious of, young and old. I, being younger than you am jealous that I haven't had these opportunities yet. Many older than you regret that they didn't take of advantage of that time where you're at right now. This is your time and the world is yours to take.

Even though we fight and disagree the majority of the time, there is nothing better than when I see you succeed. I want you to get everything you want out of life and I will always be here backing you up. You've been stuck with me from the beginning. I'm sure you were dying to get out of the house and go to school far away so you could have some relaxing time without me. However, I know deep down you couldn't wait to come home on the weekends and tell me all about how great college life is. Little did you know, I actually listened quite carefully when you told me your stories. You helped me. A few years later when I moved away to college, I figured, hey, if she could do it, there's no reason why I couldn't. I've been watching and learning from your mistakes all along.

As you start this next chapter, I'm sure you're going to have a lot of times when you question what you're doing and and why you're doing it in the first place. I'm sure it's going to be tough at first. Just always remember that you have a strong support system backing you up like we did all along. I will be there when you do something great. I will be there when you do something stupid. I'll be there when you want me to be and even when you don't want me to. That's what sisters do.

I am so proud and can't wait to see what you do next. I hope your dreams stay big and your worries stay small. I encourage you to have as much fun as possible and do the crazy things you always wanted to. After all, you only live once. Make it count.
