A Letter to My Littles

Dear Littles,

I am thrilled to have you as my littles, and I look forward to a great year. I hope everything is going well with your school year so far, and you are enjoying your classes. I hope homework isn't getting too difficult or taking up too much of your time, because we all need to make time for fun. Don't forget that. If you need something just ask, I'm here to support you and help you enjoy college as much as I can.'ll share as much knowledge as I can that might help. I'll help with homework. I may not have taken all your classes, but two heads are better than one. Just ask if you need me, I am here for you. I'm sorry if I get busy or distracted. There will probably be times where I fail to help you when you need it, and I hope you can forgive me for that, but I will try my hardest.

I look forward to the year ahead and the potential adventures we'll have. I will make sure that you do have some fun and get you away from endless homework sometimes. We will have to find the hidden things to do, and the gems in this town that no one else knows of. I will introduce the traditions of Wilson to you as best as I can and I hope that we can be like a family away from home to each-other. I promise to spoil you when I can (especially on birthdays), and make sure you feel comfortable here. Holidays will always be another occasion for spoiling and fun before we go home to our families. I promise to be a supporter, mentor, teacher, and guide as best I can, but most importantly a friend. Here's to a fantastic year.

Sincerely,
Your Big

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
