Maybe it’s my love for adventure or my obsession with making lists, but every year, I always attempt to make a summer bucket list. Many times I get through maybe two at most, but it’s the thought that counts, right? Instead of making a personal one this summer, I thought I might as well create a general one so others could also participate, and maybe I’ll get through more than two this time.

Whether you’re a homebody this summer or exploring the world, here are five fun bucket list ideas that you can do no matter where you may be.

1) Have a photo-shoot with your friends, including bubbles and throwbacks from the 2000’s

1,2 Step by Ciara, Forever by Chris Brown, Fergalicious by Fergie, and bubbles… lots and lots of bubbles.

2) Fill water balloons with paint, pin them on a giant canvas, and throw darts to pop them.

The Princess Diaries didn’t only teach me how to sit like a princess; it gave me the idea to make a splatter paint canvas using water balloons, shout out to Mia Thermopolis and her mom.

3) Invite your friends over for a Barbeque, but EVERYTHING you eat must be cooked on the BBQ.

…And I mean everything. Not sure how good everything will taste, but I’m sure some Food Network show has done it before, so it can’t be that bad.

4) Complete and film the jelly bean "bean boozled" challenge.

Because who wouldn't want to eat a skunk or canned dog food flavored jelly bean.

5) Have a slip ‘n slide party…

Get those tarps and dish soap ready, because this one is definitely happening, and I’m pretty pumped.

Still in shock that it’s pretty much summer, but I’m not complaining. Hope that this short lil summer bucket list helps when you just don’t know what to do on those warm sunny days, happy (almost) summer!

I thought senioritis in high school was rough until I became a college senior about to go into the real world. I'm supposed to have everything figured out, right? College is filled with many things, and we're so often lectured to make the right decisions as we head out on our own into the college life. But sometimes it's necessary to indulge in some guilty pleasures as well as just doing things because you can. And honestly, a lot of the time it's inevitable. College is no piece of cake that's for sure, so it's okay to do some things you deep down know you shouldn't....once in a while anyways.
