Silk is a brand that provides vegans, vegetarians and health-conscious consumers dairy-free milk and yogurt alternatives. The company developed the "Do Plants" campaign to introduce products made from plant protein. Athlete Venus Williams and music artist DJ Khaled were both featured in a commercial promoting the healthy lifestyle that consuming plant proteins supports.

Williams is pictured on the tennis court before she says, "Strong is good," and drinks Silk's Very Vanilla Soymilk. Khaled is pictured drinking a banana smoothie made with Silk Almond Milk and says, "I do plants." Williams and Khaled are supporting a healthier and environment-friendly lifestyle.

Silk's Do Plants campaign is active on Twitter with #DoPlants to promote their plant protein products. Many Silk consumers are turning to Twitter to share their enjoyment of the plant-based products, and they also praise Silk for being considerate of the the natural world and its inhabitants.

Silk understands that many consumers are choosing healthier lifestyles that demands nutritious food, and people are becoming more conscious of their impact on the environment. People also are becoming more aware of what they consume and the amount of waste they produce. Plant proteins benefit both the consumer and the environment because they produce less waste by lowering meat consumption and also leaves the consumer feeling healthy. Silk's new vegan soy milk is a perfect product for people who want to better not only themselves, but also the environment.

Drinking soy milk instead of cow milk benefits your body and the environment. Soy milk provides the human body with vitamins B and E, protein and fiber. It also has less sugar and fat than cow milk. Soy milk is also cholesterol free and can help lower cholesterol. Consuming plant-based proteins instead of meat-based proteins can lower the amount of pollution from farm factories that raise livestock. Plant-based proteins can reduce the amount of pollution produced by farm factories. Additionally, livestock needs to be housed and fed, which requires money to be taken from the farmer's profits.

People should begin to consider replacing cow milk with soy milk products because dairy-free milk is a healthy milk substitute, it is environmentally friendly, and Silk offers several flavors of soy milk. An easy way to help save the environment while also practicing a healthy lifestyle is to drink soy milk and consume plant-based proteins. #DoPlants

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.

To My Loving Boyfriend,

  • Thank you for all that you do for me
  • Thank you for working through disagreements with me
  • Thank you for always supporting me
  • I appreciate you more than words can express
  • You have helped me grow and become a better person
  • I can't wait to see where life takes us next
  • I promise to cherish every moment with you
  • Thank you for being my best friend and confidante
  • I love you and everything you do

To start off, here's something I don't say nearly enough: thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You do so much for me that I can't even put into words how much I appreciate everything you do - and have done - for me over the course of our relationship so far. While every couple has their fair share of tiffs and disagreements, thank you for getting through all of them with me and making us a better couple at the other end. With any argument, we don't just throw in the towel and say we're done, but we work towards a solution that puts us in a greater place each day. Thank you for always working with me and never giving up on us.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
