Do you enjoy science fiction from the 1980s? Mysterious children, who have dangerous powers? Or even the idea that the government is hiding something from us? Well the newest Netflix series, "Stranger Things" has become the newest sensation in social media that has all of that and so much more! While "Stranger Things" have been streaming on Netflix for about a month, fans have been poured out by the millions each week as the show has easily become a part of pop culture. In fact, you can say that some fans can be a little more obsessed and there are a few signs that someone is obsessed with "Stranger Things."

1. Dragging your friends into the series

The best way to start a show? Dungeons & Dragons as shown here!

Just like most shows on Netflix, fans of "Stranger Things" would often recommend the show to their friends after watching one episode, it's just that good! Fans casually mention the basis of the story in any given conversation, or what I do is explain the plot anytime someone walks into me binge watching "Stranger Things."

2. Stocking up on Eggo waffles

Eleven channels every college student with a toaster.

"Stranger Things" is covered with shout outs to iconic products of the 1980s including these lovely toaster waffles. As the lovable Eleven adapts to her new surroundings, it's safe to say that she has the right idea to raid all the Eggo waffles. I'm not sure if my roommates would like the boxes of Eggos in the freezer.

3. Stocking up on chocolate pudding

"Stranger Things" helps fans channel their childhood by stocking up on both Eggos and chocolate pudding. Not only do the main characters easily relate to the audience, but let's not forget that these two food items are actually really cheap.

4. Becoming suspicious of flickering lights

Ever since I finished the show, (after binge watching the first season in one day), I've been keeping an eye on every single light that is in my room. As all fans of "Stranger Things" would know, flickering lights can mean danger to either yourself or someone else! I'm still working on making a wall alphabet without getting fined for damage.

5. Cutting your hair like Eleven

It's safe to say that Eleven is all of us when it comes to fries.

There's something about Eleven that draws fans to make her one of the most lovable characters in "Stranger Things." It could be her innocence as she learned about what friends are, or how deeply she cared for Mike, Lucas, and Dustin. Since a lot of people love Eleven, it would take a lot of dedication to go out and have your head like hers, as it could give you super powers.

In the end, whether you bought all the Christmas lights at the nearest Wal-Mart or jammed to "Africa" by Toto, "Stranger Things" has made its way into the hearts of millions of viewers home with its eye-catching sci-fi mystery...with a little element of shock as the series progresses.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Blair Waldorf
Stop Hollywood

For those of you who have watched "Gossip Girl" before (and maybe more than just once), you know how important of a character Blair Waldorf is. Without Blair, the show doesn’t have any substance, scheme, or drama. Although the beginning of the show started off with Blair’s best friend Serena returning from boarding school, there just simply is no plot without Blair. With that being said, Blair’s presence in the show in much more complex than that. Her independent and go-getter ways have set an example for "Gossip Girl" fans since the show started and has not ended even years after the show ended. Blair never needed another person to define who she was and she certainly didn’t need a man to do that for her. When she envisioned a goal, she sought after it, and took it. This is why Blair’s demeanor encompasses strong women like her.
