I've been around children my entire life, from younger cousins to babysitting jobs to teaching positions. Everyone in my life knows that I'm passionate about working with kids, for good reason. It's the kind of work that sticks with you way after you clock out.

2. You have a cold every other week

Giphy

No matter how careful you are, getting sneezed on is inevitable. You worship Dayquil like a god.

3. Attention grabbers are your best friend

Giphy

The power of "one, two, three, eyes on me!" is astounding.

4. You find yourself thinking more positive

6. You love your job more than anything

You know that going into work will always be interesting, and you get to meet some pretty cool little people along the way.

I've gotten to know some amazing children over the years, and seeing them grow and reach their potential is one of the most rewarding experiences life has to offer. I can't wait to see what the future has to hold for all the children I work with!

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
