Going into college, everyone is nervous about who their roommate is going to be. Are they going to like me? Are we going to get along? Personally, my biggest fear of going into college was my roommate moving out and finding someone better, and unfortunately that happened to me, but within the same day I found a new, amazing roommate who helped me make my freshmen year one that I will never forget! I quickly noticed sings that she was the perfect roommate for me, hopefully, everyone found their perfect roommate, or will find their perfect roommate when going into college.

1. You help each other study all night, even when you'd both rather be sleeping. (Especially when your roommate is studying for Anatomy and Physiology.)

2. You feel completely comfortable around each other, maybe a little TOO comfortable.

3. They're always down to de-stress with some good old fashioned partying!

4. When everyone around you is hooking up and your self confidence goes down, they're always there to help you pick yourself back up again!

5. When you're sad and crying, they hurt too. They cry along with you, no matter what the circumstances.

6. They binge watch the same shows with you, even though you both should be studying. You earned that 3 hour break for reading Chapter 1 of 9.

7. They find all of your jokes funny, even if it's the dumbest thing they've ever heard, they laugh along with you, because let's face it, you're not always as funny as you think.

8. Over school vacations and when they leave for the weekend, you miss them like crazy and it feels weird to be sleeping in an empty room.

9. You help each other with their assignments, even when they've only done the bare minimum.

10. You never judge each other on the amount of food the other person is eating, instead, they join you in the binge fest!

11. They know when you should be studying, so they force you to skip one "Thirsty Thursday" to hit the books, even though you don't want to, but the temptation is all over your building and they keep telling you, "you don't need it."

12. They aren't disappointed in you when you procrastinated an assignment because they know you've procrastinated something important as well. Instead of crying about it, you both laugh about how you only have 4 hours 13 minutes and 57 seconds to hand in the assignment, but who's counting right?!

13. You share a fear in the future and have the occasional mental breakdown because of it. The stress of college has finally gotten the best of you and all you can do is accept it.

14. They know exactly what to say to get you out of your bed and have a good time.

15. And, most importantly, they've become your best friend over blood, sweat and tears, and you know your relationship with your roommate is unique and something that no one can take away from you!

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:
