Is there really such a thing?

Signs You And Your Roomie May Be TOO Close

We've all heard the horror stories. The stories about the roommate from hell that wears your clothes and eats your food. The roommate that stays up too late and constantly has people in the room. But for every one of these roommates, there are good roommates. At the same time, how close is too close?

You dress each other

Her fashion sense is just so much better than yours.

You're not sure whose clothes are who's

So you didn't see your roommate before you left for class. Suddenly she shows up at lunch wearing your shirt. Do you care? No. You're wearing her sweatshirt.

All food is up for grabs

Anything you don't want her to have better be hidden well. If I see it, I eat it!

You have so many inside jokes.

Other friends usually stop listening when you two start using inside jokes in your conversation. I guess you just had to be there.

The only time you spend apart is in class

Hands down the longest hours of the day.

When they leave for the weekend and you realize you have no other friends

You may think you have other friends, until you are watching Netflix alone in your room waiting for your roommate to get home.

You are associated together

You constantly refer to you and your roommate as we, and so does everyone else.

If one goes, both go

No need to invite both of you, and invite to one is an invite for both.

There is no such thing as personal boundaries

You know all of her relationship, personal, and family issues and have helped her solve many problems. Your room is a safe zone where everything is tolerated and judgement is not allowed. Of course, you could never judge her, she knows all of your secrets too!

You couldn't imagine life with anyone else.

At the end of the day, she is your best friend, and what's better than living with your best friend?

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
