Are you confused and lost while driving through the United States? Are you trying to figure out where exactly you are? Here's a quick flipbook on how to decide if you're in the Midwestern United States; look for these four things to decide.

1. Corn, corn, and more corn.

Corn as far as the eye can see.

2. Wind turbines literally everywhere.

Bonus points if you can find a field where all of them are on and functioning--half of them are usually off or stalled. If they are all working, you might not actually be in the Midwest.

3. "Adult Superstores" near every major-ish city.

I couldn't seem to find a picture of the one I was thinking of, but more and more seem to be switching to signs that just say "Adult" and let you wonder.

4. The infamous "Hell is Real" signs next to every highway.

Or, its distant cousins...

After seeing numerous cornfields, wind turbines, adult superstores and huge religious signs, you should be able to deduce whether or not you're in the Midwest. There is also probably really, really bad cell coverage, but that's a side note.

Oh college, lovely, lovely college. A four-year time span that is filled with many highs and many lows. When I was learning how to talk, I was taught both Portuguese and English at the same time. In elementary school, I started taking mandatory Spanish classes, which I did well in because of my knowledge of Portuguese. Then in high school, on top of taking Spanish, I also started taking French. Now, in college, already fluent in English and Portuguese, I'm in the process of becoming fluent in Spanish, and I have a standard high school level understanding of French.
