Signs You Might Be Obsessed With Your Pet

Being a parent is one of the best things in the world — of course I'm talking about being a pet parent. Every pet owner reaches the point of their life where they stop just being an owner and become a mom or dad to their pet. But it may be going further — you may be starting to become obsessed. Here are some warning signs:

1. Your camera roll is full of their pictures.

There are other things to take pictures of?

2. And you might have made an Instagram account for them . . .

3. You've bought more pet toys than anything else in the last year.

It's fine, you don't need that extra pair of shoes, but your pet definietly needs another chew toy.

4. Having an all day snuggle fest sounds like the best day ever.

Sorry, I can't go out today, I'm spending time with my pet.

5. You annoy them more than your own siblings, but because you LOVE them.

Once you get ahold of them, you won't let go until you literally have to.

6. Having full and complete conversations with them is a daily occurrence.

They truly understand the real you, and they have no judgement.

7. Finding them in strange and messy situations is mostly endearing

Whether it's destroying your things or scratching them up or puking on them.

8. Your food is no longer just your food.

It's a little gross, but you try not to think about it.

9. They don't have just one name, they have 100s.

Sometimes they aren't so nice nicknames, but those are for only specific times.

10. You try and take them with you everywhere.

It's ridiculous that pets aren't allowed everywhere, yet children are.

11. You hold a firm belief your pet is the cutest in the world.

Which isn't false.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
