1. Nothing is off limits.

You and your best friend take “you can talk to me about anything” to a whole new level.

2. They are honest with you, no matter how hard it is.

They will tell you the truth about how they feel about a subject even if they know you aren’t going to agree.

3. They drag you to events you didn't know you wanted to go to, but you end up having a ball.

I never thought I would be going to the gym every day, but she makes it fun.

4. The inside jokes are plentiful.

You know what I’m talking about. That one word that they can say to you to instantly make you laugh so hard that you spit take. Yeah, those jokes.

5. You can open up to them and know they won’t judge you.

They know your secrets and your past and still love you anyway.

6. They are there for you, always.

It doesn’t matter if it is 3 in the morning or if it is during class, they are there for you when you need them.

7. Your family is their family.

Your mom becomes their mom and they are basically adopted into your family.

8. They can make you smile when you feel like your life is falling apart.

Enough said.

9. You know that you would do anything for them.

Within reason…but you definitely push me out of my comfort zone.

10. You don’t thank them nearly enough.

To my best friend, I hope you know that I will always be there and always care about you. You are the person I know I can go to for anything. Thank you for all you do for me.
