Finals season may be over, but that doesn't mean we suddenly stop drinking coffee. It gets you through exams but it also gets you through the morning. Whether you love your caffeine or are borderline addicted to it, you can definitely relate to the following:
1. Cringing a little when someone orders a Frappuccino.
Is that even real coffee? And don’t even get us started on Unicorn frappes.
2. Drinking coffee even when you don't need to.
3. Always being ready to explain the difference between a cappuccino, latte, and a macchiato.
Educate yourselves, people.
4. Knowing that cold brew is a better bang for your buck than iced coffee.
Cold brew has more espresso in it, tastes smoother, and is made with cold water. Here are some more differences.
5. Decaf just defeats the purpose.
Unless you really just want the taste of coffee, why drink it without the caffeine?
6. Secretly wanting to spend $8 on Starbucks Reserve.
The difference is very apparent, but you know your friends would judge you for spending more on coffee than on a meal.
7. Understanding that Starbucks is actually… not that great.
The days when you would post a picture of your caramel frappuccino on Instagram are GONE. If you live in an urban area, you know that there are more than a handful of other options which make much better espresso drinks than this large chain.
8. Having a slight heart attack when someone says they don’t like coffee.
What do you mean... what do you even drink if not coffee???
9. Calling out people who think mocha is real coffee.
It has chocolate in it. It’s hot chocolate, and you won't convince me otherwise.
And you know you go through this thought process on a daily basis: $6 for a sandwich? Will that really fill me up though? Is it worth it? ... Hey, $5 for a latte isn't that bad!
