Are you crazy over Christmas? Does the idea of Thanksgiving ending so finally you can throw up a tree and some lights excite you? Have you been waiting for December to roll around again since basically it ended last year? If this is so, you might, in fact, be "addicted" to Christmas. This, of course, is not a bad thing, due to the fact that Christmas is the happiest, busiest time of the year. But if you find yourself thinking any of the previously mentioned thoughts, here are 12 signs you may be crazy over Christmas.
1. You love Christmas music.
You are the type of person that starts listening to Christmas music at the beginning of November.
2. You know the words to almost every Christmas song.
You also know the words to just about any Christmas song that came out decades before you were born.
3. You’ve seen almost every Christmas movie at least once.
"The Grinch," "Polar Express," "Home Alone"... if someone named a Christmas movie off the top of their head, you've seen it at least once.
4. You enjoy wrapping presents.
It doesn't mean you are necessarily good at wrapping gifts. You just enjoy doing it.
5. You thoroughly enjoy making Christmas cookies.
You love everything about Christmas cookies: the taste, smell, look... everything.
6. Basically, every meal from the end of Thanksgiving on involves eating some sort of Christmas treat.
"We elves try to stick to the four main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corns and syrup."
7. You start Christmas decorating basically as soon as it hits November.
You are finally complete and satisfied with life.
8. You go out of your everyday route just to pass some Christmas lights.
A 5-minute drive suddenly turns into a 20-minute detour to some random neighborhood.
9.You go crazy whenever you see anyone in a Santa suit.
This picture basically says it all...
10. Your wardrobe is basically 25 percent Christmas sweaters.
You regularly go thrifting in order to find that perfect tacky sweater to show off to your friends.
11. Every time it’s raining, you wish it was cold enough for snow.
If only it was three degrees colder it would be snowing!
12. You can’t sleep the night before Christmas.
No matter how old you get, you still can't sleep the night before Christmas.
With this all being said, receiving gifts is of course great, but don't forgive to give back this Christmas to someone who may need your help. I know personally I don't have money (broke college student) to purchase someone a ton of gifts for people in need; however, you can always volunteer your time and/or talents to helping people.
Have a great holiday season!
