Halloween is right around the corner, and if you're anything like me, you're scrambling to find a costume. Sure, Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I should be more organized about it--but life can be hectic and weeks go by in a flash and before you know it, All Hallow's Eve is less than a week away! But don't worry, because I've got you covered. Ever wonder what #basic costume fits your sign the best? Look no further!

1. Aries (March 21-April 19): Wonder Woman

Wonderwoman is a fearless leader--just like Aries! Get your leotard and your lasso of truth ready--you're ready to storm any Halloween party you can find!

2. Taurus (April 20-May 20): Katniss Everdeen

Tauruses are strong-willed and loyal, just like the "Hunger Games" protagonist! Better learn to braid your hair--Katniss is the perfect fit for you!

3. Gemini (May 21- June 20): Bunny

Bunny costumes are fun and easy to make--and they were made famous by Regina George in "Mean Girls!" Geminis are definitely the life of the party, so who better to take inspiration from than the Queen Bee herself?

4. Cancer (June 21-July 22): Mermaid

Not only are Cancers a water sign, they make the perfect mermaids because of their protective nature and their mood swings. Cancers feel a lot --almost as much as a mermaid would!

5. Leo (July 23-August 22): Cat

Cats are strong and creative, just like Leos--and not to mention, the Leo is represented by the Lion. Feline's gotta stick together!

6. Virgo (August 23-September 22): Angel

Virgos are the ultimate perfectionists, so what better costume for them than the tried and true Angel?

7. Libra (September 23-October 22): Princess Leia

Libras tend to be peacekeepers, searching for justice and balance. Sounds a little like our favorite galactic princess-turned-general-turned-absolute-badass, no?

8. Scorpio (October 23-November 21): Devil

This one goes without saying; Scorpios are dark and mysterious (and even a little evil, depending on who you ask). They were--literally--born to be Devils.

9. Sagittarius (November 22-December 21): Harley Quinn

Sagittariuses are absolutely crazy. I've met a good bunch of them in my life, and I can tell you, they're all absolutely out of their minds--which makes them great fun at parties! If you're looking for a costume to match your brand of crazy, look no further than Harley Quinn!

10. Capricorn (December 22- January 19): Nurse

Capricorns are ambitious, just like nurses. But, not only that, Capricorns like to play it safe. You can't get much safer in costume choices than the good old "Sexy Nurse" ensemble at Party City!

11. Aquarius (January 20-February 18): Hippie

Aquariuses are super laid back and ready to go with the flow--just like hippies! It's time to break out those bell-bottom pants and flower crowns!

12. Pisces (February 19-March 20): Sailor

In doing research for this article, I realized the Sailor costume is more popular than I thought. It's a little out there in terms of Halloween costumes, in my opinion, but it's still a cute look--which means it fits perfectly for our lovable yet aloof Pisces friends!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
