Sometimes there are things that are a part of your daily life that you don't realize are a problem until you really step back and evaluate who you've become.

I have a confession to make. My name is Nikki, and I am addicted to ice cream.... It feels good to get that off my chest. It's becoming a serious problem. It's leaking into every aspect of my life and I literally can't escape it. Wherever I go, it haunts me. I. Need. ICE CREAM!

Here's 15 signs you have a problem as big as mine:

1. You Get At Least 3 Invites To Go Out For Ice Cream A Week

And the answer is always yes.

2. You Know Every Ice Cream Shop In Town

And you're a certified expert on who has the best waffle cones, milkshakes, and toppings.

3. The Employees At Dairy Queen Know You By Name

They probably have a good guess on what you're going to order too

4. You Spend Way Too Much Money On Ice Cream

I'm talking like 60% of your monthly budget is charged to ice cream. All you need in life is gas in your car, service on your phone, and ice cream in your tummy.

5. The Mini Fridge In Your Dorm Has A Full Freezer

If it can't hold at least a pint of ice cream, it isn't even worth your time.

6. You Own More Ice Cream Scoopers Than Normal Dishes

You have to be able to choose the color scoop that matches your mood... right?

7. You Can Taste The Difference Between Custard, Soft Serve, and Froyo

And you know that soft serve is king.

8. Your Parents Always Have Ice Cream In The Freezer At Home

Because they know no one can get between you and your love affair with frozen deliciousness

9. You Always Order A Milkshake With Your Meal

If you don't, everyone knows you're either sick or your bank account is nearing the negatives.

10. Ice Cream Dates Are The Only Dates You Go On

Dinner and a movie? I hope you mean ice cream and a movie.

11. Your First Stop At The Grocery Store Is Always The Ice Cream Aisle

And if we're being honest, it's usually your only stop.

12. You Don't Even Use A Scale To Weigh Your Toppings

But you always show up at the register with exact change.

13. You Have An Ice Cream Bucket List

There's literally a note in your phone dedicated to ice cream shops and flavors you haven't tried yet.

14. You'll Stop At Nothing To Prove It's Healthy

Because there's no way these last five pounds have anything to do with all the ice cream I ate last week.

15. You Don't Plan On Stopping

Despite the supposed negative side effects of your addiction, you can't imagine ever going more than two days without ice cream.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
