I am pretty sure you all have watched Netflix's hit rom-com "To All The Boys I've Loved Before," starring the precious Lana Condor and the smashing Noah Centineo. When my friends and I heard that on September 7 "Sierra Burgess is a Loser" would be coming out on Netflix, I was skeptical. Yes, it had Noah Centineo in it and yes, it was a rom-com, but the trailer looked unappetizing. Part of me had hope there would be redeeming factors in this movie, and the other part of me just wanted to watch it and see how terrible it would end up being. Well, after wasting about 100 minutes of my life, I can conclude that Sierra Burgess is the worst movie character to walk the planet and here's why.

Sierra Burgess uses her appearance as an excuse to why people don't like her.

Listen up Sierra. Nobody likes you because of your low self-confidence, your pessimistic look on life, and your poor life choices. She isn't even that ugly, honestly. Grow up Sierra.

She manipulates Jamie's feelings and uses her "poor looks" as an excuse.

She had the NERVE to manipulate precious Jamie into thinking she was someone else. That is so morally wrong on so many levels. And her rational behind it? "I am so ugly so I HAVE to lie to him." Ugh this movie made me hate her on so many levels.

She literally commits sexual harassment.

Can we talk about how Veronica and Sierra literally tricked Jamie into kissing Sierra without his consent??? This was extremely underplayed in the movie, and it's high key sexual harassment. And what's worse is that Jamie forgave her on the dime at the end. Like no???

Sierra is so absorbed in her own life and pushes all of her friends away because woe is me.

99.99% of the movie was Sierra complaining about how ugly and terrible her life is, and she simultaneously pushed away her friends with her negative attitude. I hate how the friends who tried their best to help her and care for her ended up getting the short stick. Stop it Sierra.

She let the whole catfish thing go on for way longer than it should.

If she would've told Jamie in the beginning who she really was, she wouldn't have created a big drama mess that would keep her up until 3 a.m. in the morning through haunting flashbacks for 5 years. Honestly.

Sierra pulls Veronica's feelings into the cat fishing game and gets her whole life tangled in this mess.

Yes, Veronica was mean at first, but then she became friends with Sierra and was less of a terrible person. But Sierra decides to drag Veronica into this mess and get her feelings entangled with Jamie. I hated how Sierra got mad at Veronica for kissing Jamie. Like hello, you want them to pretend their dating??? What did you expect them to do? Gotta keep the realism in there.

She pushes Dan away. Dan is precious and should've been the star of this movie tbh.

Dan is precious and needs to be protected at all cost

Okay so first of all, Dan deserved a better role than the stereotypical gay black best friend. Second of all, he is the most precious human being in this movie, and I need a spin off asap. His movie would be 100000x better than Sierra's (but honestly that isn't hard to beat). In addition to his sweet precious sass, his outfits are killer, and he is the only one in the Milky Way galaxy who can pull off that leopard printed jacket. Tldr; Save Dan 2k18.

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

You know that all of these things apply to you. You'll just never tell.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
