Well, I have written about this kid before, and I'm going to do it again. Trevor Siemian, the Denver Broncos' new starting quarterback, got his first ever NFL victory on Sept. 8, with a 21-20 victory.
He, and the rest of the team struggled through the first half, only putting up seven points, and turning the ball over two times. Devontae Booker fumbled on the first drive on the game, and Siemian threw an an interception in the first quarter. They also let the Panthers score 17 points against them.
The third quarter was pretty uneventful. There were no points scored by either team, and Siemian threw an interception. After the third, Siemian, and the rest of the team was tired of all of the unfortunate drives.
The Broncos were able to score 14 points against Carolina in the fourth quarter. The first score was a pass by Siemian to C.J. Anderson, and the next was a one-yard touchdown run by Anderson. They also gave up a field goal.
At the end of the game, The Panthers' kicker missed the game-winning field goal, which gave the Broncos their first win of the season, and gave Siemian his first career win. I hope he keeps up his performance, and is able to not only keep his starting job, but also become a franchise quarterback for the Denver Broncos. Good luck, Trevor.
