How "sick" is "Captain America Civil War?"

The Marvel Cinematic Universe started with "Iron Man" and includes some of our favorite heroes, featured in some pretty awesome movies. "The Avengers" proved that seeing all of these supers together could be a mind-blowing experience. However, it also proved that the question of 'where is the rest of the team?' in each of these heroes solo adventures could be a big problem. So how do you solve this problem? By putting the whole gang together, of course (excluding Thor, and Hulk)! This is "Captain America: Civil War" starring: Chris Evans, Robert Downey, Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Martin Freeman, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Jeremy Renner, Sebastian Stan, Tom Holland, Paul Bettany, Don Cheadle, and Chadwick Boseman. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo!

So first things first, many people may have some reservations about this because it seems more like an "Avengers 2.5," rather than a true Captain America movie. Most general moviegoers loved "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," so seeing that this movie had pretty much everyone in the MCU may introduce the worry of taking the spotlight away from Cap. Well, if that was your worry, let your little heart rest: it is not an issue! This is definitely Cap's movie through and through! He is the star and the heart of this movie with Tony Stark (Iron Man) being a close second.

Another factor that may have us thinking a bit: are we going to believe the 'war' in this film? We've seen all these heroes over and over again, and yes, while they have had their disputes, are we going to believe the actual conflict in the film? Is it going to feel like civil argument or civil war? My friends, I'm glad to say this absolutely feels like civil war!

Now I want to give a big 'tip of the hat' to The Russo brothers! They nailed the directing in this movie! With so many characters and subplots to juggle in this film, they did an outstanding job! This could have easily been a big, sloppy mess of a film, but, thankfully, it was very well done! I mean, you have 90 percent of the MCU in this movie (as well as some newcomers). Add in action and drama, the pacing, the development, and the story could have gone askew so fast...but it didn't. This movie is super tight, and before you know it, two hours and thirty minutes have gone by; it was a great ride!

Next on the list is performances!

Everyone did a great job in this movie, a stand-out for me though was Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther! I have to be honest and say I didn't really know much about Black Panther, other than he was a comic book character. So I don't know if he was true to the character as far as comic books go, but Boseman did an incredible job with the movie's portrayal. Black Panther had his own agenda, his own code, his own set of rules, and Boseman projected this all so well. I wasn't very excited to see a Black Panther solo movie, before; now, I'm clawing for one! Chris Evans also kills it again as Captain America! It's so easy for this character to become cheesy and boring, but Chris Evans brings a likeability to this otherwise "goody two shoes" character. Captain America could be the most uninteresting Marvel character ever. but he is quickly becoming the most interesting character the MCU has! On the same page, Robert Downey, Jr. continues to be a great Tony Stark. We've seen this character grow from a selfish, rich, know-it-all to a broken, beaten down man with convictions about what he has brought to the world. This isn't the same Tony, and I love the fact that were seeing him change. Downey brings his A-game, and some of the movie's biggest, heavy-hitting scenes come with him. Also, Tom Holland as Spider-Man is pretty off the chain! I love how this is the first time a kid has been cast to play Peter Parker, not some 30-year-old man. He didn't play an intregal part in this film, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to love what Marvel has in store for our friendly neighborhood spider.

As for negatives, I would have to agree with the general public and say that the villain was pretty forgettable. A lot of his plan didn't really make sense to me, and it seemed very happenstance. Now, while some are saying that the villain was a total loss, I would disagree. I think, with a couple of tweaks to the story, he could have been amazing! But, as is, it's kind of "eh". I like the vision for the character, I just wish it was executed better.

If you're new to my rating methods, I will now break down how "sick" this movie is, and if you have read one of my reviews before, I have tweaked my rating system a just bit.

"Healthy As A Horse" Never see this movie, even if your life depends on it!

"Common Cold" This movie is fun or entertaining but not necessarily a good movie.

"Stomach Bug" Good, but not worth spending money at the theaters.

"Called Out of Work" Really good movie and worth seeing in theaters if you get the chance!

"Projectile Vomiting" Watch this movie as soon as possible, get in line at the theater, or immediately buy it on Blu-ray or DVD. You have to see this movie!

So how 'sick" is "Captian America Civil War?"

Well my friends, if any of you have a phone nearby, we need some serious help, because Captain America: Civil War is...

"Projectile Vomiting!"

This is the first time any of the movies I reviewed has had this high of a rating, so if you have the chance, please check out this movie, it is not a waste of your time! There is so much I couldn't even get into with this review: the action, the Vision, Scarlett Witch, hot Aunt May! This movie has a lot to handle, so be sure to check it out yourself!

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
