6 TV Shows To Watch Instead Of Rewatching 'The Office' For The Hundredth Time

In This Article:

Online TV streaming can be a tricky game. Often I find myself trying to watch different shows, but I just can't find that perfect one. This leads me to watch "The Office" for the one-hundredth time. Don't get me wrong, it is one of the best TV shows ever created, but sometimes it's time for something new. Here are six TV shows you can watch instead of rewatching "The Office":

Parks And Recreation

This show is definitely a hit among "The Office" fans. This show follows the daily life of those who work in the parks and recreation office in Pawnee, Indiana. It follows the mockumentary style that so many loved in the office. This show can make you laugh one minute, but also make you cry the next. If you loved "The Office" you will love Parks and Recreation.

Friends

You might be wondering, who has not seen "Friends"? It's crazy, but some people just really are not that into this show. I promise you this though, if you love "The Office" then "Friends" will be easy for you to love. From the beginning to the end, this show will keep you addicted and wanting more.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Where to begin with "Brooklyn Nine-Nine"? This show has a little bit of everything for everyone. Like procedural cop shows? It's got a little bit of that. Like comedies like "The Office"? It's got a ton of that. Like your TV shows to have a bit of diversity and representation? "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" is one of the most inclusive shows on TV right now.

Bob's Burgers

I know that animated TV is not everyone's cup of tea. However this show isn't exactly like anything else on TV. It has a big heart, and a lot of ambition, and it works. Whether it is one of the three Belcher children or Linda and Bob, this show is one of the most interesting on TV. Everyone is obsessed with the Belcher's daily life, and you should be to.

Drunk History

This show is a little bit different than the other ones on this list. While "Drunk History" is not completely one hundred percent accurate, it does offer some fun information while staying completely hysterical. If you are looking for something kind of educational, but also hilarious "Drunk History" is for you.

The Good Place

Michael Schur must know how to make great TV shows. This is his third entry on this list, and he also worked on "The Office". Did you know he was Mose, Dwight's cousin? "The Good Place" is one of the most intricate sitcoms ever made. You will be on the edge of your seat, week after week, while also laughing the entire time. The next time you are looking for a TV show, you should give it a try.

All of these TV shows are so good and so worth your time. I only hope that the next time you sit down to watch "The Office" you think, hey maybe we should try something else out? If you have not seen any of these shows, you do not know what you are missing!

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
