Shows You Should Be DYING to Watch!

Being that we're spending all of our time indoors due to quarantine, we are probably turning the tv on more than usual. With shows retuning this fall, it can be overwhelming deciding which ones to watch. Out of the thousands of shows to be returning with a new season these are the four shows you need to be on the lookout for:

1. Dead to Me

While Jen and Judy's friendship is anything but simple together they are a dynamic duo. A duo that every girl is jealous of. They each have gone through a tragic loss but they have found comfort in each other grieving. You will watch these two ladies at their lowest point and see them get through everything that life throws at them.

While being best friends, one of them holds a secret that can destroy their friendship life in a split second. Running against the law together, deleting evidence that can incriminate them, and maybe even getting rid of someone is what they have each other for. The suspense and excitement that Jen and Judy's choices will give you, will make you love them even more, I promise.

Now log onto Netflix and binge watch season one and two before the reveal date of the third season!

2. The Mandalorian

Now for my Star Wars, fans don't think I forgot about you.

Everyone has heard of baby Yoda, a child of Yoda's species the cutest out of the cutest and the most powerful out of everyone.

You can find him in The Mandalorian alongside, Din Djarin, a bounty hunter who has been paid to capture him. Fighting off Jawas, small rodent-like scavengers, Greef Karga, stormtroopers, and many more enemies the Mandalorian has a change of heart about what he will do with the child; baby Yoda. The journey that the child goes on with the Mandalorian develops the most heartwarming friendship that you will ever see.

This is a perfect family show for the upcoming holiday's just like the rest of the Star Wars trilogy. So start watching and catch up now, so you are prepared for October 30th just in time for the upcoming holiday's to start and when season two comes out.

3. Good Girls

Beth, Annie, and Ruby are anything but good girls.

If you love suspense, thrill, and boss women this is the show for you. These three moms do much more than bake cookies for the bake sale and take part in carpool on Fridays. Breaking the law together each one has their own reasons, they live in danger at all times.

With the cops getting hot on their trail once again they have to watch what moves they play when it comes to their dirty work. Even if they want to get out of what they entangled themselves and their family in to, it's too late for them now. Instead, they have to own the streets and do whatever it takes to keep their families safe from the life they live outside of the mommy & me's.

Want to see if they get caught? If so, then grab your remote and start watching season one and two while you wait for season three coming out in early 2021 to find out.

4. Grey's Anatomy

This show is for you medicine and drama lovers! We all love the drama in the ER and finding out who is dating who at Grey Sloan. If you love to hear about complicated surgeries, life altering procedures, or want to watch some boss doctors, Meredith Grey and her colleagues are the ones for you.

Having seen Mer for sixteen seasons we can't have enough of her and cannot wait for what season 17 has in store for us. **SPOILER ALERT** What will happen with Teddy and Owen now since he left her at the alter? What's next for Link and Amelia after having their baby?

Tune in on Thursday, November 12 for the return of season seventeen of Grey's Anatomy. If you haven't seen the show yet I suggest you grab some popcorn and binge-watch the show on Netflix. Prepare yourself for tears, awe moments, anger, jealousy, and all the emotions you can think of when watching the show.

28 Daily Thoughts of College Students

"I want to thank Google, Wikipedia, and whoever else invented copy and paste. Thank you."

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
