My cousin, Tiavon Cheyenne Falu, is one of my role models and I don't even think she knows it. I tell her how proud and happy I am for her, but I've never told her how much I look up to her. She is the first out of all of my cousins and I to graduate from college with her Bachelor's degree. When I tell you I was more hype than she was on her graduation, it was crazy (lol). I was just so elated and filled with joy to see her walk across that stage knowing how hard she worked throughout school. She maintained her grades, was a cheerleader, and worked. Tia was doing the damn thang!
She and I grew up together so I consider her, as well as my other cousins, to be the sibling I never had. This young lady is such a go-getter, hard worker, caring, loving, and genuine. She deserves everything God blesses her with and so much more.
For her graduation, I decided to write her a poem. I started, but unfortunately didn't finish in time for her graduation party. I figured I'd just keep it to myself, but my mom read it and said I should definitely still share it with her. So this article is a big shout out to my cousin and I'm finally sharing the poem, "Tia, You Made It!", I wrote that she inspired. I hope you like it Tia. I love you!
