A Shout Out To Best Friends

Ever since Hannah Montana dropped her hit single “True Friend” in 2007, besties all over the world have been going all out to show their affection toward one another. Whether it is just signing your cards and letters "BFFs” or something so much more, they really are always there for you when “something ain’t right.” Now that it's 2015, as best friends we have stepped up our game to show how loyal we are to the friendships we have established. From the good to the bad, your best friends have been there through it all. These are the things that make us feel #blessed to have such amazing people in our lives.

Always Making You Laugh

You can always count on your bestie to make you laugh. Whether it’s a stupid video or a quote from your favorite movie, your bff knows your sense of humor and can make you laugh in an instant.

Being A Faithful Follower

Need a like, comment or share? Your most faithful follower has got your back, no matter what the social media crisis is. They are there for you for every first like and first comment - not to mention they will gladly go back and re-like it when necessary.

Helping You Make A Decision

From which picture of your dog to Insta to every text from the ex, your PICs have been there to help pick the correct filter and come up with a classy way to say “I’m over you.” Making decisions are hard enough, but with someone just a text away you will never have to worry about which dessert to waste your calories on or which shoes look better with your dress.

Knowing When You’re Sad

The minute you walk into the room they can tell when something is off. Whether you are just tired or actually upset, they will know the correct call to action to whatever you are feeling in that moment.

Giving The Best Advice

Your BFFs always know exactly what to say. They can help you through any problem, no matter how hard and no matter how stubborn you are. They know how to give you the best tough love and how to take a bad situation from 0 to 100 in a matter of seconds.

Doing Things No Questions Asked

You need a favor? It’s already done before you can say please because when push comes to shove all that matters is that your friend needs help - questions can always be asked later!

Keeping Your Secrets

There are no secrets in a best friendship because the trust level you guys have is unbreakable. Every secret you tell them becomes just as important as keeping their secrets, so there is a 100 percent guarantee that your secret is safe with them.

Supporting Your Every Move

And most importantly, your best friend has got your back! From risky haircut choices to rebounding with your ex, your best friend will be supporting your choice no matter what. If that doesn’t scream amazing, then I don’t know what else would.

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
