Shout-Out To Cousins

While all aspects of family are equally incredible this holiday season, cousins are a shining light that never fail to make family gatherings a million times more fun. As I only have two twin brothers, my cousins serve to me as surrogate sisters and all my other cousins like more siblings. While my family is massive to begin with, my huge group of cousins never fail to make me laugh.

The kids' table is always the best table, and bonding with my many cousins over how annoying/funny/amazing the rest of our family members are is always the highlight of my holiday. From watching Love Actually in bed every Thanksgiving to arguing over who gets to sit next to who, I will always appreciate my cousins for being the most fun people to hang out with over the holidays.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
