Seems like every week, the apps we use daily have new updates. And of course, seems like every month, our phone have new updates. We read what's new but it's like "oh. whatevr" but as soon as we open its like "Whaaaaaaaattttt is this?!". Some updates are "yes! keep this" while others are "um, can you not?" Here's a list of updates that have made me question "was this update really necessary?" and have made me say "Oooooh I like this"
Twitter:
I cannot express how much Twitter has had me say "Why." and "Jesus has taken over this app". Between the "night mode" update (which makes original mode Twitter look weird) and the mute this conversation update to the update where your replies to someone no longer have their @ names (I'm pretty sure that lasted a second but maybe a preview?), I just want a Twitter update where you have an edit button to edit your tweets that have errors and to extend the 140 character limit.
Snapchat:
I look forward to Snapchat updates all the time! Although, I'm still mad that you can't see anyone's best friends anymore, the Geotags, face filters, voice changers, are all 10/10 updates. They're so fun, which is why Snapchat will always be on top. To the creator of Snapchat, KEEP BEING CREATIVE.
Facebook:
Mark Zuckerberg, you, my friend, I really don't know if I should applaud you for adding "Live streaming" or call you unoriginal for basically putting Periscope out of business. Either way, I love it. Makeup tutorials are easy to watch now. You're still making money off me.
Instagram:
You're running out of ideas,so you're stealing everyone else's updates. cool. I need something I haven't seen.
Vine:
#RIPVine. You will be missed forever.
Apple:
Steve Jobs, I know you're in heaven, smiling down (P. Diddy voice) watching the iOS 10.2 update make everyone look at these new emojis and loving them. Seriously, a black heart that describes my soul, a clown for the boys who love to play games and take everything as a joke, a Pinnochio nose emoji for everytime a guy lies, a gorilla in honor of Harambe. Keep making Apple great from heavens, Steve.
