There is a popular picture on the internet of Sophia Bush wearing a shirt that says “Zero is not a size" on it. I get it. Many women can't wear size zeros. I get that zero is a size you will find that only a minority of women can wear. However, there are still women who wear size zeros. I myself wear a size zero in a lot of brands. And you know what? I have absolutely no problem with that. I am comfortable with my body and how I look. I am sick of hearing people joke about how I need to “put some meat on my bones." I am tired of hearing that zero is not a real size. Even if there aren't a lot of us, women still wear size zeros. I understand that you are trying to promote healthy living and discourage eating disorders, but what makes you think you have to put us size zeros down in order to do that? I am naturally a small person with a high metabolism; that's just how it is. Those of us who were born to be small can't do anything about it without becoming unhealthy ourselves. This is not a problem that is restricted to talking about a woman's size, either. It can be applied to many other social issues.

Why We Should Stop Saying “Zero Is Not A Size”
I'm not just talking about size, either.
