I met my boyfriend when I was in my first year of college. When I first saw him I thought he was cute and funny but we both went our own ways. A month or so later, we finally started talking. This was because we got put in a group project together. He didn't waste anytime getting a jump start on it. The only problem was, it wasn't due for about 3 months and I was the only one he texted out of our group. He ended up talking me into getting donuts together and that was our first date.

One thing that I immediately noticed with him was that he was so easy to talk to. I'm normally super shy but talking to him was different. Our conversations felt natural, like I could tell him anything. Over the next year we became closer and now he's my best friend.

Being with someone who you can call your best friend is important because you can tell them anything, and they won't judge you over it. They can help you through whatever the problem is. And if you're gossiping with them, most of the time they don't even know the person you're talking about so you don't have to worry about the gossip spreading around. However, even if they do know the person you're talking about, you can trust them indefinitely because they are your best friend.

It doesn't matter what you talk about with them because the two of you can carry on a conversation for hours and never get bored. You alway have things to tell them because you want them to know all about you, which they do.

Another great thing about dating your best friend is that you can completely be yourself. Neither of you have to care about being too weird. You don't have to be scared of what they'll think of you. There are no games. You both get to be your crazy, weird selves together and it's so much fun. So, put on your favorite song and sing it opera style in your car or take those ugly selfie videos on Snapchat to send to him. If he's your best friend he'll do it along with you.

You also know each other extremely well. You can tell if they are upset or sad about something and you know exactly what is going to help cheer them up. It's easy to go a little overboard while shopping for presents because you want to get them everything that they have been wanting. They always tag you in pictures on Twitter of your favorite things or tell you if they heard your favorite song on their way home. You know exactly how to make each other laugh. Nothing is hidden between the two of you and its literally the best.

There are so many upsides to dating someone who you think of as your best friend. It makes your relationship more fun. It doesn't feel like your working while having a boyfriend, it feels like you're hanging out with a great person who you could see yourself hang out with for years to come.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
