Being a Shopaholic On a College Budget

As a girl, I love to shop. Walking into my favorite store is my happy place and getting that cute new bar top is my therapy. But, when you're on a college budget, you are forced to choose between those hot new bar shoes from Macy's or that really cute shirt from Uban Offtiters. Even clothing from Forever 21 and American Eagle start to become a bit of a splurge. Instead of walking to your favorite store and just getting what you want, you started resorting to Marshalls and Payless for all your cheep clothing needs. Yes, sometimes it make me depressed as I remember the good old days where I just used my parents money to get the clothing I wanted, tobut I have to be stingy and actually look at the price tag. So here are my thoughts about what I have to go through when I just want a little retail therapy.

1. When I look into my closet-

2. When you walk into a store and see so many cute things that you must have-

3. When you walk into Victoria Secret and your purchases are over 70+
4.When you can't decide what to get and you only have $25

5. So, you just get both on your mom's credit card

6. Then you immediately regret it and have to pay your parents back

7. How you feel walking out of the store from a successful shopping spree that you saved a lot of money on

8. When people ask you if you work out

9. You try to rationalize you purchases to yourself like-

10. When you have to put something back because you don't have enough money-

11. or you pick them up anyway and say-

12. And finally when you realize that your a shopaholic and need help-

I thought senioritis in high school was rough until I became a college senior about to go into the real world. I'm supposed to have everything figured out, right? College is filled with many things, and we're so often lectured to make the right decisions as we head out on our own into the college life.
