The Carousel Never Stops Turning

I'm starting to think we'll never get off.

ABC's hit drama, "Grey's Anatomy," has been on for over a decade and is still such a prominent force in the fictional world. The genius storyteller, Shonda Rhimes - who has also created and produced a few other TGIT dramas - keeps the people of Grey+Sloan Memorial Hospital alive by their own struggles, love triangles, and surgeries.

There have been an astonishing number of characters who have lived within the walls of Seattle Grace turned Grey+Sloan, all leaving their own stitch mark. From McDreamy to McSteamy to Little Grey to the infamous Meredith Grey, we have gotten to know them all throughout their intern program, residency, and we've seen them grow into the attending they were taught to be. While some people have mentioned that the show is starting to become redundant, there's a reason it's still winning awards for the best TV drama; Shonda.

We get to discover the many different view points on certain situations that depict reality. For example, Callie's coming out story helped so many people find their own courage to truly accept themselves for who they are and others around them. And there was an instance when Stephanie Edwards called out Dr. Amelia Shepherd for her white privilege. There's also a prominent female lead, which is typically quite rare to find. And do I even need to mention the couples who have gone through hell and back and still manage to stay together? The abundant amount of juicy stories being told every single week will always bring viewers back. We have grown so close to this fictional world and the well-rounded people that roam about it it would be hard to quit watching now.

The thing that amazes me most about Shonda is her courageous voice. She captures moments of heartbreak and moments of liberation in such profound ways it's enticing just to feel like you're a part of it all. Although, some of my favorite characters are no longer part of the show, it's fascinating to see how the ones that remain evolve with new love interests, siblings, or solely a new co-worker, in terms of the hospital's family-like group. Each character is so different in their own unique way I love watching them delve into each others' personal life, whether they're trying to help mend it or break it. Their stories, their laughter, their tears...we've seen it all.

If I had my way, "Grey's Anatomy" would never come to an end, but for some reason I am most excited to see how Shonda will close the show's curtains. I can't help but think it would be anything but extraordinary.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
