As an African American, it is extremely hard to find hair products that work effectively at a nationwide superstore like Walmart or Target. Once you find the little "ethnic" corner, it seems like all of the products are for women and us brothas have an even smaller selection to choose from. However, a lot of these products work just as well for women as they do for men. One company that has done a great job of making their products universal is Shea Moisture. A common misconception is that Shea Moisture products are just for women. On the contrary, they have a wide range of products that work for all black people, including men. Just because a product doesn't say "men" right on the front does not mean the product will not work for a man. These are five products from a so-called "women's" brand that are just as great for men.

1. Moisture Retention Shampoo

Not all shampoos work for thicker hair and some may even leave your hair feeling dry; not this shampoo. It does a great job of leaving your hair feeling clean while also keeping it hydrated.

2. Restorative Conditioner

I personally use this conditioner right after I use the above mentioned shampoo. This combination is perfect for leaving your hair feeling soft and moisturized.

3. Curl & Style Milk

For the men and women with the thicker, curlier hair, this style milk detangles, conditions and controls curls while keeping your hair full and luxurious. A lot of men would be thrown off by the coconut and hibiscus scent, but it is a pleasant, light smell that perfectly accents a great product.

4. After Shave & Bump Preventer

For the men who still feel a little skeptical about Shea Moisture, don't worry, there are a few products targeted directly at men. This after shave restores natural moisture, allowing you to shave everyday while leaving your skin feeling nice and smooth. It also effectually soothes and calms razor burn.

5. Curl Enhancing Smoothie

The Curl Enhancing Smoothie actually happens to be Shea Moisture's most popular product and for a good reason. It defines curls and leaves your hair with a soft, silky feel. It also restores moisture, creates brilliant shine and conditions hair without weighing it down.

These are just a few products from a great brand, but do not be afraid to try other products from this brand or any other brand. Men, do not limit yourself to only a few options because the products aren't "manly" enough. It all comes down to taking care of yourself and finding the best possible way to do that.

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
