Welcome to 2016, a world so ready to blame a woman for being held up at gunpoint in her own apartment, because she did something in the privacy of her own home 10 years ago. In a culture trying to be so 'politically correct' and trying not to offend anyone we've sure as hell taken a turn for the worse in the last 6 months by immediately blaming the victims of these crimes. Why is it the woman's fault? It absolutely isn't. Whether she's famous or not. It doesn't matter if the criminal was a 'Olympic bound swimmer' or the victim just so happened to consensually make love to her partner at the time who then decided to publish it for the whole world to see.

Here we are in 2016 and people are actually saying Kim Kardashian DESERVED to be attacked, tied up, and robbed. People. Come on. I mean I'm not huge Pop Culture guru and truly don't follow anyone close enough to care what clothes they're wearing at a certain gala, but actually saying she deserved what happened to her is just absolutely dehumanizing. Sure, she makes a lot of money and her life is televised. She's from a famous family and you know what? They market themselves well. Can your picture get taken and you make thousands of dollars just for a simple smile with your daughter? Nope? Didn't think so.

I think it's absolutely ridiculous that this is where we are now in society. We are AGAIN (thanks Brock Turner) blaming the victim!! This is all, frankly, BULLSHIT! I don't care who you are. If you have a the barrel of a gun on your forehead and you're being tied up and thrown into your bathroom, you deserve every right to be horrified and have people mourn for you and your safety. No matter who it is. At its honestly laughable that people actually think it's ok to blame her. So stop. This shouldn't have to be said.

Kim, I'm so sorry that something so tragic had to happen to you and I hope they catch the perpetrators. Something like this shouldn't happen to anyone and as a mother it must be even more nerve wracking that your child could be in danger.

Finally people just stop acting like children and act like adults. Treat each other like you would want to be at and at least remember everyone else is just as human as you are.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
