We are all Frank.

If you're a current college student, and you haven't been overly obsessed with Shameless, are you really living? For those who don't know, Shameless is the greatest show ever. It is about an awful single father of six who spends much of his free time drinking at bars. This makes the oldest sister basically become in charge of the whole family. Sounds stressful right? Probably. However, you will want to be a part of this funny, wild family in the end. We all want to be a Gallagher. Odds are, we know someone who acts just like every character in this show in our classes or around campus. Here is who each character would be if they went to your college.

Frank Gallagher:

We are all low-key Frank. After a long Friday night, everyone turns into Frank the next morning. We're starving, poor, and extremely cranky. We probably lost our friends at the party the night before. Maybe you even slept outside. Who knows. It's the sad truth but we are all Frank.

Debbie Gallagher:

That one girl who asks a question when there are only 2 minutes left in the class. This is also the girl who is way too into everyone else's business. You might be talking to someone about your weekend and she somehow jumps into the conversation, yet gets deeply offended when someone doesn't listen to her. She rushed the same sorority as you and the whole time you were praying she would get dropped. She probably is trying to steal your man too. Stay away from people like this.

Carl Gallagher:

Probably the campus adderall dealer. He only shows up to class when theres a final, and sometimes he doesn't even show up to that. He's super dedicated to his frat, but that's about it. He's "cuffed" to a different girl every 5 days, yet everyone wants to take him to formal.

Lip Gallagher:

The love of everyone's lives, hello have you seen this man? He's in the best frat, and actually has emotions. 10/10 student. He's on the dean's list too. You love him, your professors love him, your parents don't even know him, but they love him. He probably has no clue you exist, but you follow each other on Instagram so who cares.

Fiona Gallagher:

The most stressed out student around. Probably a tour guide on campus, volunteers at blood drives, running for president of her sorority, and still maintains a somewhat solid social life. No one really knows how she manages to do 12 different things at once, but she seems to kill it every time.

Sheila Jackson:

She seems to spend her Friday nights binge watching cooking shows. She should really go out more, but just can't seem to make many friends. She also is a bit of a cougar and goes for the freshmen boys. No one really understands what's her deal is, but she's an entertainment to all.

Ian Gallagher:

Your best guy friend. He's in the friend-zone, but odds are he doesn't even care. You can always depend on him to listen to your problems, and he'll probably freak out with you. He'll force you to go to the gym with him and make you also look super bad at the gym. Overall, great kid who is just figuring out life one step at a time.

Mandy Milkovich:

You'll get the worse vibes from this girl. She always looks like she wants to punch someone in the face. Odds are she has hooked up with all of your guy friends. She'll probably get a boyfriend mid-junior year and it'll ruin her reputation of being "heartless". Her whole life will turn around and everyone will realize that she has changed and maybe she'll get some friends. Who knows.

Mickey Milkovich:

Yup, he's related to the heartless sister. Siblings that go to the same college are always an odd bunch. They're either way too close, or act like they don't exist. This kid is probably trying to have the whole "bad-boy" vibe, but no one falls for it. You'll see him walking around campus with his sunglasses and headphones on, even when it is raining. A little weird.

Veronica & Kevin:

They've been dating since high school, somehow have every class together, and never leave each other. They'll probably get engaged by sophomore year and have 4 babies by senior year.

Shameless is really such a messed up, but hilarious show. I strongly recommend it for everyone, except my parents.

The 5 Painfully True Stages Of Camping Out At The Library

For those long nights that turn into mornings when the struggle is real.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

The 14 Stages Of The Last Week Of Class

You need sleep, but also have 13 things due in the span of 4 days.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

28 Daily Thoughts of College Students

"I want to thank Google, Wikipedia, and whoever else invented copy and paste. Thank you."

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

StableDiffusion

As this semester wraps up, students can’t help but be stressed about finals. After all, our GPAs depends on these grades! What student isn’t worrying about their finals right now? It’s “goodbye social life, hello library” time from now until the end of finals week.

1. Finals are weeks away, I’m sure I’ll be ready for them when they come.
