Everyone wants to be original on Halloween while also trying to look good. There's also the constant struggle of trying to find a costume that people will understand without you constantly having to explain yourself. CofC students love Clyde -- just try not to let anyone rub you for good luck before their next exam.

Not sure what it is with Charleston and pineapples that seem to go hand in hand, but you're sure to make it in everyone's pictures with this costume.

3. Sexy Bulldog

For all the Citadel fans out there. Hey, maybe the "sexy" version of this one hasn't been made yet, but now you can just create your own. Maybe cut the sleeves off?

4. Sexy Ghost

Charleston is known for its history and many late night ghost tours, so who could go wrong being a sexy Charleston ghost?

5. Sexy Carriage Horse

They may drive us crazy to get stuck behind while driving, but they definitely add to the city's charm, as will you in this costume.

For all the history lovers out there who love visiting the old cannons at the Battery and Fort Sumter.

6. Sexy Confederate Soldier

Maybe even a ghost Confederate soldier? You can model your outfit after one of the many Confederate Statues found around Charleston. Or just strap on some thigh-high boots and call it a day.

No one likes getting stuck in the crowds walking down King Street, but like it or not, Charleston is one of the biggest tourist cities.

One of the best parts about living in Charleston is all of the beautiful palm trees, and you can be one too! Even Katy Perry agrees.

11. Sexy Brick

The bricks are one of the most defining characteristics of the city, especially on the CofC campus. If anyone is confused by this one, just lay on the ground and let them trip over you. They'll definitely know after that.
