I know what you're thinking. What does she mean by how to get away with sexual abuse? Well, I'm going to tell you exactly what I mean, being a victim of sexual abuse myself. Lately I have seen a lot of rape cases occurring in the news. Especially with the release of Brock Turner from prison after a mere three month sentence for raping a college girl who was too drunk to consent. This threw me into an absolute rampage after the many comments saying how it was her fault and she shouldn't have drank so much. If this would have been you or I being convicted of rape we most definitely would have gotten more than a three month sentence. Rape and sexual abuse is a very traumatic experience and people should be sentenced as such. Trust me I know first hand just how traumatic it is. I myself was molested around the age of five years old by my mother's ex boyfriend. I grew up often wondering why me? What did I do to deserve that? I refused to tell my mom what had happened. I told my psychiatrist, but I didn't want to put charges on him at the time. I was scared of what if he came back after me? What if it would have happened again? I was scared to even let a man get close to me which affected many relationships. I bottled up my emotions for years, about 16 to be exact. I found out at that point that her ex was trying to get custody of my 14 year old sister. I was absolutely horrified I wondered what I could do to help her. My mom told me that most states don't have a time-frame on how long you can wait to report sexual abuse. So I went and did just that after 16 years I finally reported it. I was too scared yet so relieved to tell a member of law enforcement. After a couple days I received the most disappointing call ever from the detective. He told me that since there wasn't really any evidence and my mom's ex denied it ever happening there was nothing they could do. I was so upset that a criminals word was being taken over mine with him already being in jail. Worst part was he had prior charges for the same thing and that still wasn't enough evidence for them to take him to court. That's when it hit me that criminals more than often get away with things. The worst part of this whole thing was the fact that he can still try to get custody of my sister and try to do the same to her that he did to me. So the best advice I can give to anyone is even if law says you can wait, DON'T WAIT! Go report it as soon as it happens. Don't wait as long as I did You may have the ability to make something happen and prevent it from happening to someone else. Nobody deserves to be raped no matter who they are or what mind state they're in . However, if you don't report it they will most likely get away with it.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
