Seven Things To Say To Your Best Friend's Ex-Boyfriend

Is "Go to hell" too mean, or nah?

Seven Things To Say To Your Best Friend's Ex-Boyfriend

Enough with the puppy dog eyes whenever you see her. It took her a lot to end things with you, leaving someone you love isn't a natural process. She doesn't need a guilt trip.

Please stop cornering me at the gym to find out things about her life. You don't deserve to know what she's doing. You lost that right when you cheated on her. I'm trying to work out, and I don't really care what you have to say, sorry. Actually I'm not really sorry. Move, before I show everyone I squat more than you.

Stop liking her Instagram pictures. She didn't post that picture of her in a bikini because she wanted you to like it. She thought it would make you jealous and maybe you'd think about her a little bit, knowing how badly you messed up. She wanted you to feel bad about yourself. But letting you have the satisfaction of liking it? No, no, no, sweetheart.

Don't learn her class schedule. That's creepy and borderline stalker-like. She can't focus in chemistry if she sees your face before lab. Come on, it's not fair. She deserves to succeed.

I had to fix what you broke. I was the one who had to hear your stupid name every other sentence. I was the one who had to think of something funny to say every time we ran into you. Her breath would stop short, and her cheeks would flush. I can't keep watching her struggle.

Get over it. You were the one who ruined it. Let her go. She shouldn't have you dragging her along with your random love letters. She's trying to be happy, let her be. She didn't think it was possible without you, but she's learning.

Even when she forgives you, I won't. She might have moved on, but I'll never let go of what you did to her. She is my person and she deserves the world. I'm sorry you couldn't give it to her.

Being a part of any organization undoubtedly comes with the pitfalls of being grouped into negative stereotypes, and sororities are certainly no exception. Here are the top few things, that I find at least, are some of the most irritating misconceptions that find their way into numerous conversations...

8. "The whole philanthropy thing isn't real, right?"

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
