1. You can never have enough t-shirts...
There is one for literally everything. Got a date party coming up? There's a t-shirt for that! What about a philanthropy event? Probably a t-shirt for that too! There is a t-shirt for every event you will ever attend, all in a variety of pastel colors.
2. ...or sisters/brothers.
It's really true what they say, when you join the Greek system you gain hundreds, even thousands of brothers or sisters. There is a calming feeling knowing that any where you go, on campus or off, you have the possibility of running into a brother or sister.
3. There really is no better relationship than the Big/Little one.
Being a Big and/or a Little is probably one of the best parts of being in Greek life. They are your family away from home, and will love you no matter what. Big/Little is more than just a title, it is a relationship, a mentorship, a friendship, and it will last long beyond your four years at school.
4. A diverse group of women and men can work well together.
Sororities and fraternities pride themselves on being diverse. Being a part of a group of people that are not all similar makes everything more fun. It can also help expand cultural views and ideas that maybe you would never have otherwise.
5. The support of fellow Greeks is unexplainable.
Being in the Greek system doesn't mean you can only hangout with your given fraternity or sorority. It means you are a part of a community that supports one another. No matter the letters on your shirt, you are all a part of something bigger.
6. Sisterhood/Brotherhood is more than just a word.
No matter what, you will always have a support system. Because there are so many brothers and sisters of your given fraternity or sorority, there are so many people who are there to support you through any endeavor. Your brothers and sisters are there for you no matter what, and they always will be.
7. Philanthropies are some of the most rewarding acts.
Participating in a philanthropy is something all Greeks do. Greeks are some of the most active groups who participate in philanthropic events. Participating in a philanthropy is so much more to Greeks. It is about helping something much bigger than you or me.
