Seven "Resolutions" for 2017

I mean, I guess you can call them resolutions.

It’s a new year which means it’s time to start making lists of New Year’s resolutions, right? I think resolutions are a great idea, but sometimes there a bit hard to follow through on. This year instead of making a bunch of lists of things I need to get done, I just want to list some things that I’d either like to improve on or get started on.

1. Grow closer to God.

Sometimes this seems like something you MUST have on your list of resolutions or you’re a bad person. This is not the case at all, but it really is something I would like to accomplish in 2017.

2. Take care of myself.

Mentally, physically, emotionally (you get it).

3. Focus on me, not on boys.

Whether you’ve just gotten out of a relationship, or you’ve been single for a while, I think this one is always a good idea.

4. Read/Write more.

These are both things I absolutely love to do, but I really need to spend more time doing and improving on these.

5. Tackle my anxiety.

Anxiety is something I’ve struggled with for a very long time, and it tends to take over me and eat up a lot of my time. So, it’s something I’d like to work in this next year.

6. Organize more.

Organization is important, but it’s not always my strong suit. Maybe I’ll try bullet-journaling.

7. Don’t be afraid to go for big things.

Jobs, goals, etc.

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.
