7 Binge-Worthy Shows On Netflix

Netflix is a companion and best friend to many. People take watching a series or show seriously and spend hours at a time watching. It's to the point where it should be a sport in the olympics. Finding the perfect show to binge-watch can be a hard decision. With its wide variety of shows, there is something for everyone to watch. Netflix has quickly become my best friend in college for those late nights when I am supposed to be writing a paper, but being able to watch another episode of Shameless is much easier. Here are seven binge worthy shows to watch on Netflix:

1. Grey's Anatomy

The medical drama heard around the world. It seems like everyone and anyone has watched Grey's Anatomy and for good reasoning. The drama between the characters and the stories of the patients always leaves the viewer wanting more. There are currently twelve seasons available on Netflix and with the right kind of dedication you could finish it within a couple of months.

2. Shameless

A drunk, six kids and a new obstacle every episode are the three main aspects of the show. No matter what, Frank is always trying to con someone for their money and Carl is always trying to kill someone. The show always finds a way to hit you right in the feels when you are least expecting it. No matter how hard you try, the Gallaghers are a hard family not to love.

3. New Girl

One woman living with four men sounds like a recipe for disaster, but somehow the tenants in apartment 4D make it work. The light-hearted comedy has something for everyone and keeps you wanting more. Nick, Jess, Schmidt, Winston and Cece feel like your family after watching the five seasons available on Netflix.

4. How to Get Away with Murder

Shonda Rhimes does it again, another drama that leaves the audience intrigued. Five law students and their professor solving cases and hiding their own. Every time there is a new door opened, ten more close. The show makes you wonder what people are actually hiding behind their smiling faces.

5. Gossip Girl

An oldie, but a goodie. This teenage drama shows the lives of high schoolers living on the upper east side of New York City. These socialites lives are continuously being documented by the anonymous Gossip Girl. Although the show isn't everyone's cup of tea, if you want some early 2000s vibes and drama, this show is perfect for you!

6. Friends

Another throw back that is worth watching. A classic that so many people are obsessed with. These six friends are hilarious, helpful, witty and show what true friendship really is. Each episode is just as good as the last and never disappoint.

7. Criminal Minds

The elite squad that makes you want to be a part of the FBI. Although each episode could stand alone, watching them in order is half of the fun. These agents show the true skill of "mind-hunting" and save hundreds of lives. They are more like a family than a group of colleagues which makes you love them even more.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
