Graduation is right around the corner for high school seniors, and with that comes writing a lot of thank you notes. These last couple of months are going to very hectic and you'll have many things to do, but just don't let these 4 people fall through the cracks.
1. Your Parents
For 18 years your parents have driven you to every school function, every track meet, every football game, and everything else you ever wanted to do. They have fed you and cared for you and now you're leaving them to make your own path.
Odds are this is harder for them than it is for you. So, make sure they know they are appreciated.
2. Your Siblings
Your siblings have also always been there to support you, even if they didn't want to be. Your parents probably dragged them to every event they had to go to, or if they were older than you, your parents probably turned them into your chauffeur.
Thank them for being people you can look up to and for always being someone you can go to with even the smallest problems.
3. Your Teachers and Coaches
Every day your teachers left their families and children to make sure other children had an education and means to do what they love. Most of them end up spending more time with their students then their kids, so they start to love their students as if they were their own kids.
Watching you grow up is hard for them, even though you don't think it would be. They have watched you grow and have had just as much impact as anyone in shaping you into the person you are today.
4. Your Friends
These are the people who have stuck by you through the good, bad, and ugly, and for the first time in years, you likely won't be seeing each other every day. Thank them for always being there for you and for always offering a shoulder to lean on. Most high school friends lose touch no matter how hard they try not too, so make sure you thank them while you still have the chance.
