High school senioritis does not compare to the senioritis you experience in college. As much as I love it here at GCU, I cannot wait to turn in my last assignment to Loud Cloud and receive my diploma. No more CLCs and DQs; it's so close, I can almost taste it!

But the closer it gets, the more overwhelmed I feel. At least after graduating high school, I had college as a buffer before entering into the real adult world. Now, I feel like I have to have everything altogether the moment I leave campus. The pressure senior year can put on you is quite stressful. All you want to do is escape!

My favorite escape so far is throwing it back to old Hollywood films and fantasizing about life in the good ol’ days. You know, back when things seemed simple. Who better to narrate this not-so-simple transition than the relatable and inspirational, Audrey Hepburn! This British actress and humanitarian walked with class and grace which is why she's still one of Hollywood's most famous icons today. We can only aspire to live the last of our college years like she would have.

In need of a quote to describe your senior year? Here's the top 5 Audrey Hepburn quotes that we can relate to:

Deciding on what to wear to class:

By the end of our freshman year, we know that sometimes it's just not worth the effort of putting on makeup and trying to look our best. One 7 AM class is all it takes for you to become best friends with yoga pants and messy buns!

Needing to do homework, but friends want to hang out:

Friendships are the real support groups for senioritis. Three essays and an exam due? Friends and spontaneous plans are just the cure you need for your weekend blues. Just remember to get the assignments into LC Sunday night by 11:59 PM or else your blues will carry on into your week.

Overwhelmed with post-graduation plans:

Sometimes, it's necessary to dream about what your future would look like. Most of the time, you avoid it because it stresses you out. You can be assured that if all my plans fail, I'm taking one from Audrey and hopping on the next plane to Paris.

Wondering if you learned anything over the years:

As you get closer to graduation, think back on your years in school. What have you really learned? As for me, I've learned a lot. Thank you, Netflix and Hulu for sticking by my side through it all!

When you feel like giving up:

Day after day, new trials will come up. Every single time you may want to throw in the towel. You may want to drop out and become a goat herder, but you are stronger than this. You will get through it and you will succeed because you are possible!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
