The semester is coming to an end, rather quickly I might add. Being a senior, with the stress of finals and end of the semester paper assignments, I am currently feeling a mixture of emotions that can be best expressed by the following:
1. Sleep is important. And after staying up for hours on end studying for an exam, it is often upsetting when you have to sacrifice sleep.
2. Sometimes there are those moments when you just feel like giving up and dropping out. That is until all of your friends talk some sense into you.
3. When it finally hits you that you probably shouldn't have procrastinated the entire semester, sometimes the only thing to do is to have a good cry and move on.
4. And then you remind yourself that there are more important things in life, like staying true to yourself.
5. You take pride in the fact that while you may be a procrastinator, you've become an expert at pulling an all-nighter and know exactly how many cups of coffee are needed to complete all assignments.
6. And you can't wait until finals are finally over so you can go out and celebrate.
7. You also realize that while senior year is almost half way over, maybe getting a job in the real world won't be all that bad.
