Second Semester As Told By The Gallagher's

The Gallagher's are known as one of the most dysfunctional, resilient family's who figure out a way to overcome every obstacle that is thrown at them. That is why no one explains tough times, like second semester of college, better than the Gallagher's.

1. "I have no idea what I'm gonna do today or tomorrow...or for the rest of my life."

Neither do we Lip. If many of you are questioning your classes, your major, or your life and what you are going to do in the future, don't worry, you're not alone.

2. "Circle doesn't start with an S?"

No Kevin, unfortunately it doesn't. But college does have its ways of making you question the basic skills that you first learned as a student.

3. "You know, I'm getting pretty damn tired of everybody."

Don't get me wrong, I love the friendships I have made in college. But it's normal to get tired of being in the same place for long periods of time.

4. "You have no money yet you're going to a grocery store. Interesting."

Let's face it Frank, we all pretend there's still money left in our bank account.

5. "I'm the only thing that passes for a responsible adult that you're gonna find."

Aren't we all Lip?

6. "It was an accident."

Says every college student. But was it really though?

7. "Who are you again?"

Most of us would probably like to be able to have an answer to that. College can make you question many things, but always stay true to who you are. It's normal to feel lost, but just remember so does everybody at some point. You will eventually find your way; take small steps instead of trying to look at the big picture all at once.

8.

Cheers to second semester, I promise we'll make it through.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.
